One Wild Night is a Uni and post-graduation project, a looter shooter built from the ground up. Though only in prototype stage, the finished game will have a strong retro artstyle and nostalgic yet modern gameplay.
I’m a Games Art & Design graduate who specialises in indie development with a focus on gameplay design. Throughout my time at NUA, I’ve developed a strong affinity for teamwork through multiple successful game jam projects such as Astraeology and Chronophobia.
I’m flexible and passionate about learning new things alongside finding new ways to apply old knowledge, such as drawing upon my engineering background to find creative solutions to problems that arise during a development process.
I’m heavily inspired by retro titles such as Timesplitters and DOOM and enthusiastic about learning from popular titles in gaming history, in particular how we can draw upon nostalgia to improve the games we make today. I’m confident working in UE4 and Maya after three years of experience with each, also having familiarised myself with working on every aspect of game development from sound through to VFX during my projects.
